PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Here’s wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable Independence Day. I’m looking forward to working along with the board and all our members during my term. It is my goal to continue making our chapter a valuable source of knowledge and networking for all.

DINNER MEETINGS    

Our next dinner meeting will be on July 12th. The Speaker will be Abe Carnow, CPA, on “IRS Audits”. Dinner will be a choice of BBQ Brisket of Beef, Grilled Salmon or Veggie Plate followed by dessert. Our chapter is again offering a savings of $37.00 (or one free dinner meeting) for those of you who would like to pre-pay for the whole year. Here’ how it works, bring your check in the amount of $296.00 (that’s 9 dinner meetings for the price of 8) and give it our treasurer Clive Edwards.

CONTINUING EDUCATION

Our dinner meetings qualify for 2 hours of CPE for all categories, and our breakfast meetings qualify for EA’s, but not for CTEC.

BREAKFAST MEETINGS

Breakfast meetings are on the fourth Wednesdays from May through January 2011, at 7:00 AM at Abe’s Deli, 19625 Nordhoff Street in Northridge. They are a great place to get information about problems that are hard to solve, and to get tips on how to do it better (or easier) next year.
